UISG Legislative Branch

The UISG Legislative branch, lead by the Speaker of the Senate, is composed of the members of the UISG Senate, which are elected in an annual election and a follow-up freshman election. The senate has the authority to pass resolutions, create legislation, and define the policies of the University of Iowa's student government. Meetings are usually streamed live, and will be held in either the IMU Second Floor Ballroom or Black Box Theater.
