Help freeze tuition
This week, the Board of Regents is meeting to consider freezing in-state tuition for next year.
We ask that you consider emailing your state legislators asking them to support the request from the Board of Regents and the University of Iowa so that tuition will not increase next year.
Emailing your state legislators is simple. Go to www.hawkeyecaucus.com and click on "Student Letter -- Take Action" for resident students. Fill in your information on the right-hand side and click "Go." Make sure you confirm the email on the next page.
For you convenience, UISG and Hawkeye Caucus will be setting up laptops throughout campus on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday so that you can email your legislator. Here is where we will be:
- Monday, October 22 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm in Burge.
- Tuesday, October 23 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm in the RiverRoom - IMU.
- Wednesday, October 24 from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm in Hillcrest
