UISG to host Presidential Debate Watch
The University of Iowa Student Government (UISG) is excited to announce their Presidential Debate Watch in collaboration with Iowa City Patch for this coming Tuesday's debate.
The debate watch will take place on Tuesday, October 16 beginning a 7:30 pm in the Bijou Theatre located in the Iowa Memorial Union. The event is free and open to all students.
Tuesday's debate is the second of three Presidential Debates hosted by the Commission on Presidential Debate. The debate is a town meeting format moderated by CNN's Chief Political Correspondent and Anchor of CNN's State of Union, Candy Crowley, on the campus of Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.
UISG is co-hosting the debate watch on the University of Iowa Campus with Iowa City Patch. Doors open at 7:00 pm, with the debate watch program to begin at 7:30 pm, and the debate beginning at 8:00 pm. All attendees will receive a free "Voting is Sexy" shirt. Please note, seating in the Bijou is limited and it will be first come, first serve.
