Learn About Your Latest Student Government Initiatives

President Michael Currie has been involved in student government for over three years, starting as a residence hall senator in spring 2006. In 2009 he was elected UISG President after a tough race, and has gotten straight to work. Currie and the newly elected senate quickly got to work by appointing a full slate of executive officers, and even developing a new position to connect better with students through technology.

Currie brings an ambitious, yet realistic agenda to the University of Iowa Student Government. His executive platform initiatives range from improvements in academic policies to expanding wireless internet across campus.
