One of the upmost goals of the Undergraduate Student Government here at the University of Iowa is ensuring that all students receive equal access to education and proper redress for all instances of sex discrimination. The Dept. of Education’s proposed Title IX regulations will have a significant impact on the ways in which University of Iowa students receive equal access and proper redress. This is why we submitted comments concerning these new regulations in order to ensure that the student voice and experience is considered within the decision making process.
