UISG is partnering with Yellow Cab of Iowa City to provide a low-cost airport shuttle service for Cedar Rapids Airport over the 2019-2020 academic year. The service is offered before and after academic break periods. Through this partnership, Yellow Cab works to group students together to make pickups & drop-offs as efficient as possible.
The UISG airport shuttle will be available for students looking to get home for summer, fall, winter, and spring breaks. If for any reason you need to cancel or change your reservation please email email@example.com or call (319) 338-9777 at least 24 hours prior to your pick-up time. All reservations must be made via the reservation form. No reservations will be accepted over the phone.
Students should allow for a window of availability for pickup to coordinate shuttles more efficiently. Yellow Cab reserves the right to give you an alternative pickup location near your original location request within 24 hours of your scheduled departure. Please remain vigilant for any correspondence you may receive from Yellow Cab prior to your departure.

Fees are automatically billed to student's U-Bills. As an alternative, students can opt-in to paying fees in cash/check. All cash and checks should be enclosed in an envelope with the following information:

Envelopes can be dropped off at the WCTC front desk or sent through campus mail. The WCTC Parking Office is on the second floor above CAMBUS stop #2000 WCTC – serviced by Red Route, Blue Route, or Hawkeye-Interdorm.
Please deliver or mail cash/check payments at least two days prior to your departure. If your payment is not received within 7 days of your shuttle your U-Bill may be charged.
No-show fees will still be billed to student's U-bills.

Please Note: We recognize that many students are traveling outside of these dates and we will work the best we can to accommodate you. But please be aware, we will not accommodate students more than 10 days prior to the start of a break, or 10 days following the completion of a break. This is due to our limited capacity and inability to manage a full-time shuttle service based on the resources available. UISG reserves the right to refuse any service request outside of the windows of operation.
Why does UISG charge for this service? Charging a small fee allows UISG to partner with a provider who can better manage the high demand for this service & promotes the economic sustainability of this service into the future.
